Cassian Chambers provides legal services on a Direct Access basis. This means, consumers can contact Chambers directly without the need to instruct a Solicitor and often, this can be a more cost-effective solution to services provided. Chambers understands and appreciates that instructing a Barrister for the conduct of legal services could be daunting, especially for lay clients. With that being the case, The Bar Standards Board has compiled a Guidance for lay clients which seeks to help members of the public to understand how the Public Access scheme works, and also to explain how they can use it to instruct barristers directly.

Chambers and The Barristers' Register

This Register shows – (a) The Practising Certificate of our Barrister, and (b) Whether our Barrister has any disciplinary findings (which are published on the Barristers' Register in accordance with The Bar Standards Board's policies and procedures).

Timescale of Concluding Matters
Whilst Cassian Chambers will ensure that every client is provided with a reasonable timescale by when to expect legal services to be completed by, this is very much dependent on the individual circumstances of a task(s). Factors that define such timescales may be as follows (please note, this is not an exhaustive list):
Limitations on Service
